Mr. Lolas C. Turner, age 85, passed away 10:42 PM Saturday May 19th, at his home near Waynetown, In.
Born on January 9, 1927 at Tompkinsville, KY., he was the son of Hubert B. and H. Pearl Craig Turner. He graduated from Longview Illinois High School and studied civil engineering at the University of Illinois. After serving in combat with the US Army in the Korean War he was a lifetime farmer in Illinois and Indiana, retiring in 2004.
He is survived by 3 brothers: Larry (wife- Laura) and Dean (wife-Maxine) Turner both of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and Richard Turner of Crawfordsville, In. 1 sister: Marilyn (husband - Robert) Boyer of Greenwood, In. and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers: Donald and Leon Turner and nephew Jeff Turner.
A private family Graveside Service will be held on Thursday May 24th at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery with Rev. Mike Whitacre officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 50 E. 91ST St. Ste. 100, Indianapolis, In. 46309-4830
