Loren Arthur Boots

Loren Arthur Boots, age 81 of Veedersburg, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022 at home while surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Blue Island, IL on September 6, 1941 to the late Joseph Archie & Alice Beulah (Cord) Boots.

Loren attended Catlin High School in Illinois and married the love of his life, Patricia Ann Stevens on June 4, 1960. He worked in shipping and receiving at General Motors in Tilton, IL for many years. He enjoyed attending horse shows; watching NASCAR, his favorite race car driver was Jeff Gordon; was a Colts fan, and loved raising his Mules, Pete & Petunia.

He is survived by his wife, Pat; four children, Laura Kay Davis, Timothy Ray Boots, Diana Lynn Cochran, and Debra Lou (special son-in-law Ron) Davis; a step daughter, Debbie Wells; two sisters, Carol (Art) Finley and Donna Beers; nine grandchildren, Becky, Donnie, Samantha, Tabitha, Cody, Nikkia, Patrick, Jennifer and Travis; 12 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and 4 nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert Dean Boots.

Cremation was chosen with a memorial service at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st Street, in Kingman on Monday, November 21, 2022 from 1:00 pm till the time of the memorial service at 2:00 pm with Pastor Chuck Tague officiating.
