Loretta Stonebraker, age 83, of Crawfordsville passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at home surrounded by her family. She was a mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Loretta was born March 9, 1941 to Charles and Pansy Tryon in Humrick, Illinois.
Loretta was the most loving, sweetest, mother. If you had the pleasure of knowing her, you knew she loved you unconditionally with her whole heart. She was always kind, giving and helped many people through the years. She will always be remembered and loved.
Loretta was a homemaker, leaving behind her children, Jay and Jeanine Stonebraker of Cayuga, Randy and Bambi Stonebraker of Crawfordsville, and Deanna and Lino Dominguez Diaz of Crawfordsville. She also leaves behind her sisters, Arletta and John Fleming of Cayuga, Charletta and Walton Deval of Louisiana, and Racheal Tryon of Louisiana; brother, Tom and Sandy Turner of Cayuga; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; her dog, Tuffy; many nieces and nephews; and her best friends, Faye Johnson, Delores Ann Lappin, Jamie Peacock, Pat Tyson, and David and Ann Cook.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Lilly Asbury, Mary Leah Smith, Barbara Jean Fisher, and Carolyn June Turner; and two brothers, Dennis Turner and Bud Turner; daughter, Susan Kinderman; and great-grandson, Hunter Castleberry.
A graveside service will be held for Loretta on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 3:00pm at Miller Cemetery, W County Road 1200 N, Kingman, Indiana. Share memories and condolences online at www.SandersFuneralCare.com
