Lowell Wilson

Mr. Lowell T. Wilson, Sr., 75, Crawfordsville, passed away Wednesday, January 17, at 9:05 PM at the Seton Specialty Hospital, Lafayette. He was born June 11, 1936, in Crawfordsville, to John T. and Cynthia (Rainey) Wilson. He married Theodora Naranjo, January 6, 1954 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She survives.

Mr. Wilson retired from RR Donnelleys in 1994 after 28 years, where he had been a mail sorter. He was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church; Knights of Columbus; U S Army Veteran; American Legion Post 72; and attended Crawfordsville Schools.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter: Dora L. (Dan) Wilson, Palestine, Texas; his sons: James K. Wilson and Lowell T. (Terri) Wilson, Jr. both of Crawfordsville. Also surviving is a sister: Ione Glass, Crawfordsville; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant brother and sister: Nancy and Norman Wilson; and a sister: Margaret Smith.

A Funeral Mass will be conducted on Saturday, January 21,at 11:00 AM at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, 1306 E. Main St., Crawfordsville, with Fr. Ambrose Ziegler, officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Memorials may be made to: Bernie's Buffet, in care of St. Bernard's Church.
