Lyda "Lucy" Lucille (McMahan) Moore

Lyda "Lucy" Lucille Moore passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Whitlock Place. She was born in Kingman, IN on July 10, 1926 to Lawrence and Mary (Tinder) McMahan. Lucy married Frank M. Moore on August 21, 1948 in Crawfordsville.
She was a graduate of Wallace High School, Class of 1944. Lucy was employed by RR Donnelley, Golden Rule, JC Penney and Fairfield Crafts. She was a Charter member of the Harmony 18 Home Demonstration Club, enjoyed crocheting and collecting cardinals.
Lucy is survived by her husband, Frank Moore; 2 daughters, Brenda Cox of Lees Summit, MO, and Becky O'Hair (Ernie) of Crawfordsville; grandchildren, Sara Strickland (Brian) of Lees Summit, MO, Eric O'Hair (CJ) of Crawfordsville and Kenzie Blackburn (Rob) of Clinton; and great grandchildren Leo and River O'Hair, Grayson Blackburn, Zack and Gavin Cox.
She is preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law, Dave Cox; brothers-in-law, James Clinton Moore, Barton Paddack, John Krukewitt and sisters-in-laws, Nora Moore, Wilma Paddack and Edna Krukewitt.
The family would like to thank Viaquest Hospice and the nurses and aids at Whitlock Place for their care the past seven years.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 9th at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S Washington Street in Crawfordsville from 11:00 am until the time of the service at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow at Oak Hill North Cemetery. Share memories and condolences at www.SandersFuneralCare.com.
