Mrs. Marcia L. Noblitt, age 80, of Waynetown passed away early Sunday morning March 13, 2016 in the emergency room of Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health in Crawfordsville, IN.
Marcia was born in Morgan County Indiana on July 28, 1935. She was the daughter of Gilbert and Bessie (nee: Anderson) Lewis. She graduated from Mooresville High School and then from IUPUI School of nursing. Marcia married Max Noblitt in 1951 while he was serving in the military. She worked for Allison Inc., in Indianapolis as the plant nurse and retired in 1997. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Mooresville, IN.
Marcia is survived by her husband Max Noblitt of Waynetown, IN and three daughters: Ronnah Bishop (husband Richard) of Austin, TX; Melisa Ochs of Waynetown,IN; and Nancy Cohen (husband Jim) of Turner Station, KY. She also has 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and 1 sister.
Cremation has been chosen and a private family commitment service of the urn will take place at a later date in the family lot at Mt Olive Cemetery near Martinsville, IN. Shoemaker Funeral Home of Waynetown, IN has been entrusted with these arrangements.
