Marcus Ray Light

Marcus Ray Light, age 46 of Ladoga, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Franciscan Health Crawfordsville ER. He was born in Crawfordsville on June 30, 1974 to Marion Keith & Betty Lou (Howard) Light.

Marcus graduated from North Montgomery High School in 1992 and received his bachelor’s degree in finance from Marion University. On October 23, 2010 he married the love of his life, Angie Page. Throughout the years he worked in finance at Etter Ford, North Park Credit Union, and most recently Mariner Finance in Crawfordsville as the branch manager. He loved playing golf, coaching his son, Keegan, playing corn hole, loved campfires and bonfires, and was a huge IU and Colts fan. He was a great singer that had an infectious laugh, and was always the life of the party. He loved spending time with his family and friends and will be missed by many.

He is survived by his wife, Angie of Ladoga; three sons, Tyler Bowman, Austin Bowman, and Keegan Light; his parents, Keith & Betty Light; a brother, Tim Light of Crawfordsville; a sister, Terri (Darin) McMurry of Ft. Peck, Montana; mother-in-law, Judy (Greg) Norman; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by and an infant son, Ethan; a brother, Michael Light; and his father-in-law, Rick Page.

Visitation will be at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S Washington St, in Crawfordsville on Friday, December 4, 2020 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. The funeral service will be Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 11:00am at the funeral home. The service will be live-streamed and recorded which can be viewed on Marcus’s obituary page at www.sandersfuneralcare.com. Social distancing is expected and masks are required. Burial will follow at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to “Keegan’s Account”.
