Margaret Elaine Keller

Margaret Elaine (Baumunk) Keller, age 73 of New Market passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the Bickford of Carmel. She was born in Putnam County on March 17, 1945 to the late Lewis Edward Baumunk & Helen (Blair) Baumunk-Akers.

Elaine graduated from Greencastle High School in 1963 and was a loving mother and housewife. She was a member of the New Market United Methodist Church, the Dubble Duzzen Home Ec Club, the Montgomery County Home Ec Club, and was involved in the Cub Scouts when her sons were younger. She enjoyed crafts, gardening, cooking, and baking.

She is survived by her two sons, Michael (Julia) Keller of California and Steven (Kim) Keller of Carmel; a brother, John (Anita) Baumunk of Lizton; a sister, Mary (Larry) McGinnis of Crawfordsville; three grandchildren, Chloe, Michaela, and Anneka; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S Washington St, in Crawfordsville. The funeral service will be Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 11:00am at the funeral home with Rev. Steve Wilke officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Greencastle.
