Mrs. Margaret Ann "Peggy" Fairfield, formerly of Waynetown and Crawfordsville, IN., passed away Sunday February 15, 2015 at 6:00PM at Lakeview Manor Nursing Home, Indianapolis, IN.
Peggy was born on September 9, 1932, the daughter of James F. Kirts and Golda Belle (nee Reynolds) Kirts. She attended school at Wallace, IN. She married Charles "Boonie" Fairfield Jr. on September 27, 1974 and he preceded her in death on June 15, 1990. Peggy is survived by three nephews; Joseph Stites of Indianapolis, IN., Michael Stites of California, and Frank Kirts of Crawfordsville, IN., 1 niece; Melissa Kirts of Crawfordsville, IN., and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers; Robert and Richard Kirts and 2 sisters; Roberta Williams April 1, 2014 and June Kirts April 22, 2014.
Mrs. Fairfields family has chosen cremation and a privater burial of her ashes at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Shoemaker Funeral Home of Waynetown, IN was entrusted with assisting the family with these arrangements.
