Marilyn Sue Burns

Ms. Marilyn Sue Burns, 73, Crawfordsville, passed away Tuesday, July 18th, at 8:50 AM, in the St. Vincent Hospice, Indianapolis. She was born October 20th, 1943, in Logansport, to Robert Daniel and Betty Lou (Cook) Gobel.

Marilyn retired in 2007 after 23 years as a Customer Service Representative for Pace Dairy.She was a 1961 graduate of New Market High School; a graduate of The Indiana Business School in Lafayette; and a member of the Parkersburg Christian Church. When she was able in her free time, she enjoyed traveling.

She is survived by her son: Travis W. (Clara) Burns, Miami, Florida; and her brother: Gary (Nancy) Gobel, Westfield, Indiana.Also surviving are her grandchildren: Nicholas Roldan, Grace Madison, Elias Jameson, and Colin Maxwell.She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Cremation was chosen with at "Celebration of Life Memorial Service' being held at 2:30 PM on August 6th, 2017 in the Parkersburg Christian Church, 86 E. 1150 S., Ladoga, Indiana, with Pastor Rich Fuller officiating.There will be a family and friends gathering and an ice cream social immediately following the service at the church.Powers-Priebe Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
