Mark Jeffrey Lang

Mr. Mark Jeffrey Lang, 54, New Ross, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Thursday, July 16th. He was born February 21st, 1961 in Harvey, Illinois, to Richard L. an Pinkie E. (Hooks) Lang. He had been married to Crystal West, they divorced. He later married Karen Allen; they divorced. He later married Vickie Smith and they divorced.

Mr. Lang was and Self-employed Contract Truck Driver, having last driven for Road One Trucking in Indianapolis. He attended Southmont Schools and graduated in 1979 from Fremont St. Baptist Academy. He attended the Harvest Fellowship Church; was a U. S. Navy Veteran; and enjoyed working on his truck and watching his son race dirt bikes.

He is survived by his son: Beau Lang, New Ross; his daughter: Nicole (Noah) Gabbard, Crawfordsville; his mother: Pinkie Fullenwider, Crawfordsville; sisters: Michelle Holt, Crawfordsville; Deborah (Mark) Reitdorf, Ft. Wayne; Linda (Mervyn) Rozet, Cary, North Carolina; and brother: Richard (Denise) Lang, Fairbanks, Alaska. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 21st, at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Whitaker officiating. Burial will follow in the Indian Creek Hill Cemetery, New Market with Military Honors being conducted by the U.S. Navy and the Crawfordsville American Legion and VFW Honor Guard.
