Martha Otenburg

Mrs. Martha Jo Otenburg, 83, Crawfordsville, passed away Thursday, January 16, at 11:56 AM, from complications of pneumonia, in the Franciscan St. Elizabeth Hospital, Crawfordsville. She was born February 21, 1930, in Parke County, to John and Susie (Martin) Scott. She married Daniel J. Otenburg June 6, 1947, in Jamestown. He preceded her in death on December 10, 1958.

Mrs. Otenburg was a Homemaker; a graduate of Rockville High School; a Lifetime Member of the VFW #1431 Auxilliary, Crawfordsville; member of the Moose Heart of Michigan; was an avid Bingo player; and enjoyed crocheting.

She is survived by her daughter: Donna Sue (Gerald) Napiwocki, Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Also surviving are grandchildren: Timothy R. French; Tamara R. French-Slaughter; 3 step grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and 15 step great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Cremation without services was chosen. Powers-Priebe Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
