Mary Elizabeth (James) Allen

Mary Elizabeth (James) Allen, age 90 of Kingman, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at home while surrounded by her loving grandchildren. She was born in Georgetown, IL on March 13, 1931 to the late Walter E & Gladys Opal (Holstine) James.

On December 10, 1951 in Newport, she married Harold "Johnny" Allen, who preceded her in death on April 27, 2016. She was a loving mother, homemaker, and farm wife. She was a seamstress that retired from Steel Grip in Kingman. She was a member of the Eastern Star and was an animal lover, and enjoyed gardening and bird watching.

She is survived by 5 grandchildren, Brandi Allen, Chad Allen, Bradley J. (Kristen) Allen, Erica (Craig) Morgan, and Clayton (Shireena) Allen; 13 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Johnny; 3 sons, Donnie, Randall, and Bradley Allen; sisters, Wilma Byrd, Wanda Byrd, and an infant sister; and two brothers, Wayne & Willard James.

Visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st Street in Kingman on Saturday, May 29, 2021 from 1:00pm till the time of the service at 2:00pm with Pastor Dusty Woodrow officiating.
