Mary Cheryl Lieske

Mary "Cheryl" (Vaughn) Lieske, age 76 of Roachdale, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis. She was born on January 10, 1948 in Crawfordsville to the late Donald Vaughn and Betty (Biddle) West.

Cheryl graduated from New Market High School in 1966. She then went on to attend Cosmetology School, where she worked in the industry for several years. Cheryl married Bradley Scott Lieske on June 18, 1967 in Crawfordsville. She enjoyed antiquing, cooking, reading and trips with her daughter to Las Vegas and Florida.

Cheryl will be deeply missed by her daughter, Aissa Lieske. She is survived by her brothers and sisters in law; Fred (Patty) Lieske, Karen (Brad) McCloud, Lana (John) Presslor, Charlene (Rick) Carrington, Luann (Brian) Starnes; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Brad; and brothers, David Vaughn and Ronald Vaughn; and brother-in-law, John Lieske.

A gathering of friends and family will be held at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S. Washington Street in Crawfordsville on Friday, October 11, 2024 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. She will be laid to rest at Blakesburg Cemetery.
