Mary Rebecca (Woodrum) McCollum

Mary Rebecca McCollum, age 65, of Veedersburg passed away on Monday, July 13, 2020 at her home. She was born in Hillsdale, Indiana on October 24, 1954 to the late Henry Woodrum and Rebecca Jane Andrew.

Mary attended Turkey Run and Fountain Central Schools. She worked many jobs throughout the years, which included being a seamstress at steel grip, grocery stocker, and a cook at a nursing home. She enjoyed spending time watching tv and embroidery. She dearly loved her dog Chewy and cat Tuxie.

Mary is survived by four sons, Buddy (Jamie Difenderfer), Chad (Stephanie Frank); Justin, and Derrek McCollum; stepmother, Kaleen Woodrum; two sisters, Sandy (Delbert) Woodrum and Rita (Terrel) Furr; a brother, Eugene Woodrum; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild on the way; special friends, Mary Jenkins, Debbie Coonse, and David Ray; and several nieces and nephews.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S. First Street, in Kingman, on Monday, July 20, 2020 from 1:00 pm until the time of funeral service at 2:00 pm with Pastor Tim Lyons officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
