Mary Paralee Miller

Mrs. Mary Paralee Miller, 93, Crawfordsville, passed away Monday, February 29th, at 1:50 AM in Hickory Creek of Crawfordsville. She was born May 16th, 1922, in Montgomery County, Alabama, to John F. and Ruth (Wiley) Butler. She married Nelson Earl Miller. He preceded her in death in 1982.

Mrs. Miller was a Homemaker; attended Montgomery County, Alabama schools; and attended the Mace United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughters: Joann (Garritt) Koopman, Crawfordsville; Brenda Gail Butler, Grand Rapids, Michigan; Nancy (Gary) Hemby, Detroit, Michigan; son: James (Totsy) Butler, Alabama; granddaughter: Sara Schweigert, Crawfordsville; brother: Tom Butler, Alabama; sister: Arleen Dodd, Florida; 8 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter: Sue Turner; and her parents.

A Committal Service will be conducted on Tuesday, March 8th, at 3:00 PM in the White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Michigan. There will be a Visitation on Monday, March 7th, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home.
