Mary Stephens

Mrs. Mary Margaret "Micki" (Murdock) Stephens died at 3:00 AM on Saturday, February 15, 2014. Mrs. Stephens was a homemaker as well as an Avon Representative for more than 35 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Martha Priscilla Circle. She also was a volunteer for many years at the Wesley Thrift Shop.

She was born on December 3, 1928 to William L Murdock and Vernace M. (Lough) Murdock. She graduated from Waynetown High School in 1946. She was married to Robert M. Stephens, on August 20, 1947. Survivors include a daughter: Vicki (Mike) Evarts, Dublin, Ohio; a son, David (Kim) Stephens, Plainfield, Indiana; a sister: Janet Wilson, Crawfordsville; and a brother: Lewis Murdock, Brownsburg; 3 grandsons; 1 granddaughter; and 2 great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, and a granddaughter.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Tuesday, February 18, at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, Crawfordsville, with Rev. Gary Lewis officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday in the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the service time. Cremation will follow funeral services. Memorials may be made to: First United Methodist Church, 212 E.
