Mildred R. Eyler

Mrs. Mildred R. Eyler, age 84, of Crawfordsville, In. passed away at her home on Friday October 24th, 2014.
Mildred was born on May 23, 1930 at Indianapolis, In. the daughter of Floyd L. and Murrell (nee: Hamilton) Surface Sr.and graduated from New Market High School. Mildred worked for a time in food services at Wabash College in Crawfordsville, In. She married William Robert "Bob" Eyler on February 12, 1955 and was a proud wife, mother and grandmother. Mildred was formerly a member of the Crawfordsville Order of Eastern Star. She loved to watch movies and grew roses. She is being remembered by her family and friends as a funny, generous, kind and self reliant lady.
Mildred is survived by her son: Scott Eyler of Crawfordsville, In. her daughter and son in law Karen and Reggie Lindsay of Boerne, TX. her brother and sister in law: Norman and Carolyn Surface of Crawfordsville, In. and her sister: Velma Ingersoll of Carmel, IN. She is also survived by her two grand daughters who were the joy of her life. Mildred is predeceased by her parents, brothers Floyd "Doc" Surface and Willis Surface and her husband Bob Eyler on September 5, 2007.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Wednesday October 29th at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery south of Crawfordsville, In.
