Mrs. Mildred E. Yoeman, 93, Crawfordsville, passed away in her home on Friday, September 20, at 11:40 AM. She was born December 21, 1919, in Story County, Iowa, to Eldred and Ellenanor (Bergeron) Dunning. She married Donald Paul Yeoman, June 8, 1940, in Ames, Iowa. He preceded her in death in 1997.
Mrs. Yeoman was a Homemaker and Mother, and after her husband's death, worked for 9 years in the Deli at County Market before retirement. She was a 1937 graduate of Ames, Iowa, High School; member of the First Christian Church, Crawfordsville; had been a Pink Lady at Culver Hospital; and loved to bowl, paint, and help people.
She is survived by her children: Jimmy (fiancee' Wanda Conkright) Yeoman, Crawfordsville; Charles Yeoman, Crawfordsville; Michael Yeoman, Lebanon; and Patti (John) Brown, Longmont, Colorado. Also surviving are In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and her sister and brother-in-law: Marguerite and Harold Banks.
A family graveside service will be held on Monday in the Veteran's National Cemetery, Marion, Indiana, where she will be buried next to her husband. There will not be any visitation
