Nancy Carol (Gibson) Ammerman

Nancy Carol (Gibson) Ammerman, age 83 of Waveland, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 21, 2023. She was born in Roachdale, Indiana on September 24, 1940 to the late Earl & Mary Roxie (Whitaker) Gibson.

She worked at Sommer Metal Craft in Crawfordsville for 30 years. She loved dancing, singing, working in her flower beds, and reading. She was a member of Browns Valley Christian Church.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Harry Ammerman of Waveland; three sons, Kenny (Rose) Ammerman of Tennessee, Jeff (Lori) Ammerman of North Carolina and Matt Ammerman of Crawfordsville; 8 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Anthony Wayne Ammerman; a brother, Donald Lee Gibson; and two sisters, Louise Mantooth and Phyllis Wheeler.

Visitation will be at Browns Valley Christian Church, 9011 S State Road 47, in Crawfordsville, Indiana on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 11:00am till the time of the funeral service at 12:00pm with Pastor Jeff Korhorn officiating. Burial will follow at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Browns Valley Christian Church. Sanders Priebe Funeral Care entrusted with care.
