Nancy Jo Bounnell

Nancy Jo (nee: Lowe) Bounnell, age 84, of Carmel, IN. and formerly of Waynetown, IN. passed away Tuesday January 2nd at The Barrington of Carmel assisted living facilty.

Nancy was born at Hillsboro, IN on February 11, 1933 the daughter of Morris and Opal (nee: Templeton) Lowe. She graduated from Hillsboro High School and then married James Bounnell on October 11, 1953. They formerly lived in Waynetown and owned and operated the Waynetown Drug Store before moving to Carmel, IN. While living in Waynetown, Nancy was a member of the Waynetown Christian Church and the Beta Chi Chapter of Psi Iota Xi Sorority. After moving to Carmel Nancy and Jim attended the St. Luke United Methodist Church and were involved in the PEO.

Nancy is survived by her husband Jim Bounnell of Carmel, IN. Sons, Ross Bounnell of Somerset, KY and Scott (wife-Berdenea) Bounnell of Green Valley AZ. and her daughter Mary (husband-Mike) Springer of Indianapolis, IN. She is also survived by her brother, Tom (wife-Betty) Lowe of Ocalla, FL, and 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Those who wish may join the family for a short Graveside Service for Nancy at 12:30 pm Monday January 8th at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
