Ms. Nola Bessie Klepzig, 94, Crawfordsville, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, February 1, at 5:10 PM. She was born November 1, 1919, in Low Point, Illinois, to Leverette and Eva Pettyjohn. She was previously married to Tony W. Klepzig.
Ms. Klepzig was a Caregiver; later worked for 10 years at RR Donnelleys; and last worked for The Durham Home in Crawfordsville. She also baked pies for the old Wesley Cafe, near Waynetown. She attended schools in Illinois; was a member of a Non-Denominational Church; enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, and spending time with her grand kids.
She is survived by her children: Linda Howard, Crawfordsville; May Darlene (Ray) Piasecki, Bradenton, Florida; Ronald (Sierra) Klepzig, North Port, Florida; and David (Carol) Klepzig, Sigel, Illinois. Also surviving are several grand, great grand, and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers; and 4 sisters.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Thursday, February 6, at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Oak Hill North Cemetery.
