Pamela Sue Crouch passed away at home on Friday, July 15th surrounded by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Vaughn, of Crawfordsville. Her Mother, Pauline Vaughn survives. Pam was married to Jimmey Crouch on October 21st, 1966 in the Parkersburg Christian Church; he survives as well. On daughter, Angela (Robert) Vice, along with two grandchildren, Hannah Cooper and Joshua Cooper; brothers, Jerry (Dorothy) Vaughn of Southlake, Texas; and Doug Vaughn of Rock Hill, South Carolina, also survive.
Graduating from New Market High School in 1966 she moved to Wertheim, Germany in 1968, where she lived off base with her family in the village. Returning in 1969 to home at Parkersburg she lived there until 1983, when she moved to Crawfordsville.
Retiring from the Franciscan Physicians Network she worked for several Montgomery County physicians. She was a dedicated daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and neighbor. She enjoyed hosting family get-togethers, gardening, and crafts. Most of all she enjoyed nurturing people and her family.
A Public Graveside Service is scheduled for 1:30 PM Tuesday, July 19th, in the Oak Hill South Cemetery with Robert Vice officiating. Friends may call at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you make donations to yours favorite local charity as Pam was always interested in helping her neighbors.
