Pamela E. (Lewis) Wray went to be with the Lord for eternity on March 17th, 2016, after a brief, but critical illness in IU Arnett Hospital, Lafayette, Indiana. She was born in Tippecanoe County, June 27th, 1957, to James E. and Doris J. (Rush) Lewis. She was a 1976 graduate of Crawfordsville High School.
Pamela loved her grandchildren and loved to spend quality time with them. She also loved to watch movies on Lifetime and Hallmark. She enjoyed spending time with her good friend, Lisa Lee. She attended Crawfordsville Nazarene Church and enjoyed the ladies Sunday School Class. She enjoyed camping, and had a fond memory of a tubing trip down Sugar Creek with her son, Derrick, and daughter, Tausha. She also enjoyed going fishing with them.
She was married to Kenneth Wray, and they later divorced.
She leaves behind her mother, Doris Steele (James) of Wingate. She also leaves behind a son, Derrick (Lewis) Steel (wife, Janet) of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Tausha (Wray) Davis ((husband, Randee) of Crawfordsville. Siblings: Brenda Rose (Darrel) of Plainfield; Renita Shull of Waynetown; Rhonda Haver (Terry) of Glendale, AZ; Karen Lewis of Kokomo; and Jim Lewis, Jr. of Williamsport. She also leaves behind grandchildren: Bryce, Brighton, Sierra, Harley, and Ashley. She was preceded in death by her father, James E. Lewis.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 22, at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, with Rev. Mark Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from Noon until the service time.
