Patricia Ellen Simonds

Patricia E. "Pasty" Simonds died peacefully on Sunday, January 24, 2021. She was 86. Patsy was born May 13, 1934 to Ruth Simonds Largent and Franklin Simonds.

She was a life-long resident of Montgomery County and graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1952. Patsy worked at First National Bank for many years and ended her career working for the law firm of Collier, Homann & Siamas. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends playing euchre and other card games. She was a member of Christ's United Methodist Church where she was involved with the children's ministry for many years.

She was "Aunt Patsy" to many and is survived by her sisters, Eileen Shelton and Shirley Paddack; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Largent, stepfather Leo "Bill" Largent and brothers, Gerald Newkirk and Richard "Dick" Simonds.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ's United Methodist Church, 909 E Main Street, Crawfordsville, IN 47933. A private family service will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021.
