Paul Becker

Mr. Paul Edward Becker, 80, Henderson, Nevada, formerly of Crawfordsville and Batesville, passed away August 29th, 2014, in Henderson. He was born October 31st, 1934 in Batesville, Indiana, to Nelson and Margaret Becker. He worked at RR Donnelleys starting in 1952 as a Timekeeper and retiring from the Harrisonburg, Virginia, plant as a Journeyman Casemaker. He was a 1952 graduate of Batesville High School; served in the U S Army in Germany as a Sergeant; and was a member of the Darlington, Indiana, American Legion.

He is survived by his children: Jane Simmons, Jim (Nancy) Becker, Joe Becker, Jack Becker, and Stacia Viveros. Also surviving is his brother: John (Donna) Becker, Rockville, Indiana; 14 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother: Don Becker; and a sister: Jinny Kellerman.

Cremation was chosen in Nevada with a Memorial Service being held on Saturday, October 4th, at 1:00 PM at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, Crawfordsville. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill North Cemetery, Crawfordsville, with Military Rites being conducted by the U S Army and the Crawfordsville VFW and American Legion Honor Guard. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the service time.
