Paul A. Bishop

MR.Paul Arnold Bishop, age 80, of Crawfordsville and formerly of Waynetown, passed away at his home on Friday morning May 24th.
Paul was the son of Adrian and Dorothy G. Bishop (later Sheetz) and was born July 25, 1932 at Newport Indiana. He graduated Newport High School and then joined the US Army and served as a Corporal from January 1953 to December 1954. He retired from RR Donnelley and Sons with 39 years of service finishing as a hoist driver. Paul was a member of the Waynetown American Legion and attended Rock Point church in Crawfordsville, In.
Paul was first married to Ruby Mourdock Bishop on december 31, 1952 and she preceded him in death March 27, 2003. He them married Betty Rose Merrill on July 24, 2004 and she survives of Crawfordsville.
He is also survived by his son Jon Bishop of Waynetown and his daughter Connie (husband Dave) Whitehead of Crawfordsville, In. Paul also has 4 grandchildren and was preceded in death by one sister, Lois Brown.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 PM Wednesday May 29th at the funeral home with the Revs. Brock Graham and Terry Thompson officating. Burial will be in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. the family will receive guest at the funeral home from 4:00pm to 8:00pm Tuesday May 28th.
