Paul Edward Ridge

Paul Edward Ridge, age 86, of Crawfordsville passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville. He was born in Hoopeston, Illinois on September 2, 1938 to the late Paul and Maxine (Harmeson) Ridge.

Paul graduated from Hillsboro High School, class of 1957 as a star basketball player. He proudly served his county in the United States Army for six years. Two years of that in Berlin in a high security capacity. After returning home, he married the love of his life, Lois Opal Summers 1/21/66. (She preceded him in death 10/15/24.) Paul then worked the next 40 years for RR Donnelley and retired in 2000. In retirement, he enjoyed working at the Indianapolis 500 as well as serving as treasurer and deacon at Alamo Christian Church.

Paul is survived by many nieces and nephews and special friends, Gary and Tammy Murphy.

He was preceded in death by Lois, his loving wife of 58 years, parents Paul & Maxine Ridge, brother Don Ridge and sister Peg Craver.

A funeral service will be held for Paul at Sanders Funeral Care, 202 Bratton Road, in Waynetown on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 12:00 noon with Pastor Kevin Howey officiating. Burial will follow at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Share memories and condolences online at www.SandersFuneralCare.com
