Phyllis Joan (Carter) Phelps

Phyllis “Jody” Joan Phelps, age 66 of Lafayette, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Franciscan Health Lafayette East. She was born in Danville, IL on May 23, 1954 and was adopted by Delores Wooten; and later raised by Karen Beeson after Delores death.

She is survived by her son, Clay Sanders and his wife, Chelsea Sanders; their daughter, Serenity; sister, Stacie Maynard and her husband, Phil Summers; brother, Dave Carter; and a granddaughter, Macinzy Jo Sanders.
