Raymond Hocking

Mr. Raymond O. Hocking, 47, Crawfordsville, passed away Friday evening, March 2, in his home. He was born November 25, 1964, in Crawfordsville, to Raymond J. "Jake" and Joyce (Olson) Hocking.

Mr. Hocking did construction work; was a 1984 graduate of North Montgomery High School; member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church; and enjoyed bike riding, sports, music, camping, and fishing.

His is survived by his children: Tasha Hocking, West Lafayette, and Justin (Ashley) Hocking, San Diego, California. He is also survived by his mother of Crawfordsville; his sisters: Jolene (Jerry) Pickett, Lake Holiday; Dawn (Bruce) Foster, Plano, Illinois; Carletta (Scott) Sorrels, Crawfordsville; Lori Hocking, Indianapolis; his brothers: Rodney Hocking, Evansville; Charles Hocking, Lebanon; Brian (Emily) Hocking, San Bernadino, California. He was preceded in death by his father in 2011 and a daughter, Ashley Hocking.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March, 9, at 11:00 AM, at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, 315 S. Washington St., Crawfordsville, with Rev. MIchael Bristol officiating.
