Raymond Weliever

Mr. Raymond L. Weliever, 90, Crawfordsville, passed away at 5:15 AM on Wednesday at the Hendricks Regional Health, Danville, Indiana. He was born August 20, 1921, in Montgomery County, to Floyd and Flora (Timmons) Weliever. He married Gladys Barkley on November 20, 1962, in Crawfordsville. She preceded him in death in 1991.

Mr. Weliever was a retired farmer. He was a 1939 graduate of New Ross High School; a member of the Englewood Drive Church of Christ; and active at the Nutrition Center.

He is survived by his sister: Margaret Conner, Lafayette; nephews: James (Bobbie) Conner, Lafayette; Larry (Melody) Conner, Lafayette; Kenny (Norma) Weliever, Florida; niece: Rosalie (Robert) Thomasmeyer, Florida. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; and 2 brothers: Roy and Buddy Weliever.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 3, at 2:00 PM at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, 315 S. Washington St., Crawfordsville, with Bob Hines officiating. Burial will be at the Mace Community Cemetery, Mace, Indiana. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, from Noon until 2:00 PM. Memorials may be made to: The Church of Christ, 419 N.
