Rebecca Kaye (Beasley) Howerton

Rebecca Kaye Howerton, age 62 of Crawfordsville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021. She was born in Normal, IL on November 5, 1958 to the late Thomas J. and Shirley (Hawkins) Beasley.

Rebecca graduated from Shiloh High School in 1976 and went on to attend Lakeland College. She graduated from ISU with a bachelor's degree in political science. She married Jim Howerton on March 25, 2000. She worked as a paralegal and as a Mary Kay Independent Consultant. She was a member of the Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, going to the beach and crafting at the church. She was very involved in the church, singing in the choir, ladies prayer group, and serving when needed. She loved God and people, and of course anything sparkly.

Rebecca is survived by her husband, Jim, their children, Christina (Caleb) Edwards, Amanda (Tim) McInerney, Chad Howerton, and Benjamin (Amber) Howerton; seven grandchildren, Jaxon, Malachi, Wesley, Grant, Madison, Truman, and Emma; twin sister, Ramona (Diane Zosky) Beasley; and a brother, Michael Beasley.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315, South Washington Street, in Crawfordsville, on Friday, July 2, 2021 from 4:00pm EST until 7:00pm EST. There will also be a visitation on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 11:00am EST until the time of the funeral Service at 12: 00 noon EST at the Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church, 307 S.
