Regina "Gina" E. Laughter

Regina "Gina" E. Laughter, age 56, of Hillsboro, IN gained her angel wings on Monday November 20th while a patient at St. Francis Hospital, Indianapolis, IN.
Gina was born on June 4, 1961 at Lafayette the daughter of Raymond Sr. and Carol Wagner Griffen. Gina lived in Montgomery and Fountain Counties while growing up and graduated from Fountain Central High School in 1979. Gina never knew a stranger and made friends easily in her comunity and jobs. She most recently worked as a clerk at Krogers Fuel station in Crawfordsville but her favorite job was as a truck driver with Covenant Trucking and as a owner operator for the John Christner Co which she did with her husband Darrell Laughter.
Gina will be greatly missed by her family: brother and sister in law, Ray and Loretta Griffin of Milford, IN. sisters and brother in laws, Hope and David Maudlin of Hillsboro, In. and Elizabeth and Tom Chavez of Veedersburg, In. She was especially close to "her girls" neices Sammantha Maudlin, Katie and Dani Chavez. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and nephews Chris Maudlin and Mason Griffen.
A memorial service for Gina will be held at Shoemaker Funeral Home, 202 Bratton Rd. Waynetown, In. on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 2:00pm The family will receive guests from 12 noon until the services. In lieu of flowers those who wish may make memorial donations to the funeral home to assist the family with expesnses.
