Mr. Reginald Allen Blizzard, age 54, of Richmond,VA and formerly of Indianapolis passed away at Henrico Dr's Hospital in Richmond, VA on Saturday October 22,2016.
Reggie was born on February 27, 1962 at Indianapolis, IN the son of Reginald A. and Barbara L. (nee Rogers) Blizzard and graduated from Avon High School. He then studied for 4 years in apprentship in sheet metal work. He last worked as a project mamager for I.T.A.C. in Richmond, VA before he became ill. Reggie's favorite pastimes were fishing and hunting and being outside.
He is survived by his wife ; Sherry (nee Hibbard) Blizzard of Richmond, VA; his sons: Reginald III and wife Zuri of Richmond, VA; Seth and wife Stacy of Mechanicsville, VA and Derek of Greenwood, IN. He will also be missed by his father Reginald Blizzard of Indianapolis, IN; brother Barry Blizzard of Richmond, VA; a sister: Regina Potora of Roachdale, IN. He also leaves behind 3 very loved grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Graveside funeral services for Reggie will be held at 2:00pm Saturday October 29th at Wolf Creek Cemetery near Wallace, IN. The family will gather at Shoemaker Funeral Home 202 Bratton Rd, Waynetown, IN prior to going to the cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial donations to the Wheeler Mission 205 East New York Street Indianapolis, IN
