Reitha Marie (Shoe) Wray

Reitha Marie (Shoe) Wray, age 82 of Crawfordsville, passed away of Covid 19 on December 19, 2020 at the Lane House. She was born in Tipton County, Indiana on July 16, 1938 to the late Freddie Ray & Irene (Goodnight) Shoe.

Reitha graduated from Sheridan High School in 1956 and graduated from business school with a degree in accounting. She worked for the Indiana State Board of Health in the payroll department and later on in life she worked in home health care. On January 5, 1990 she married Billy Joe Wray, who preceded her in death on November 25, 2019. She enjoyed going to the First Assembly of God Church with Billy, she loved listening and attending country music concerts, and she loved all her family.

She is survived by her children, Randy, Roberta, and Rhonda; her step-daughter, Debbie (Greg) Holman of Waynetown; 4 grandchildren, Derek (Shelly) Holman, Kellie Cloncs, Mike (Megan) Cloncs, and Courtney (Josh) Wheeler; 10 great grandchildren, Dawson, Jordan, Katlyn, Calan, Stormy, Skyley, Gauge, Easton, Kaylyn, and Keegan; and 4 grandchildren from her previous marriage; one great-great grandson, Luke; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Wray; and a brother.
