Rhonda Jean (Woodrow) Adams, age 65, of Veedersburg passed away on Monday, August 29, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Danville, IL on May 1, 1951 to Freeman Woodrow and Joye (Covault) Slade.
She graduated from Covington High School in 1969. She was a dental assistant for Dr. Lewis in Danville, IL for 16 years and the librarian at Covington and West Lebanon Public Libraries. She enjoyed spending her time painting and reading.
She is survived by her mother, Joye Slade of Veedersburg; three sons, Eric (Shlena) Wash of Crawfordsville, Kirk (Brenda) Adams of Danville, IL, and Todd (Winter) Adams of Crawfordsville; a brother, Mike (Sharon) Woodrow of Covington; a sister, Joann Cockrell of Danville, IL; two grandchildren, Lexie and Kylie; and nephews, David and Clint and neice Darci.
She was preceded in death by her father, Freeman and her brother-in-law, Harry Cockrell.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 3, 2016 from 12-2 pm at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st Street, in Kingman with the memorial service at 2pm with Michael Snyder officiating.
