Mr. Richard Lee "Dick" Booth, 82, Crawfordsville, passed away Saturday, April 5th at 10:40 PM in the St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born February 2, 1932, in Fishers, to Milo and Mary (Quear) Booth. He married Carolyn S. Owens on June 20, 1952, in Fishers. She survives.
Mr. Booth founded Booth Machinery Sales in 1965 and also was an independent agent for American Breeders Services. He was a 1950 graduate of Fishers High School; attended Woodland Heights Christian Church; was in the U S Naval Reserves in Anderson; member of the Elks Lodge; member of the NRA; enjoyed playing golf and fishing.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons: Dan (Dee) Booth; Gary (Jill) Booth; Kenny (Libbie) Booth; and Rick (Julie) Booth, all of Crawfordsville. Also surviving are brothers: Phil (Becky) Booth, Noblesville; Denny (Carol) Booth, Fortville; and 23 grand and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister: Jenny Sue Booth; and granddaughter: Annie Booth.
Cremation was selected with a Memorial Service being held on Thursday, April 10th, at 2:00 PM in the Woodland Heights Christian Church, 468 N. Woodland Heights Dr., Crawfordsville, with Revs. Tony Thomas and Steve Wilke officiating. Following the memorial services the family will be available at the church to greet friends until 6:00 PM.
