Richard Chapman

Richard Wayne Chapman, 63, of Darlington, IN passed away Monday, July 19th, 2010 at 5:54 AM in the St. Elizabeth Hospital East Emergency Room. He was born September 28, 1946 in Robinson, Illinois, to Omer and Dottie (Piersall) Chapman. He married Lou Ellen Williams, July 1, 1967 in Linden, Indiana. He was a 1964 graduate of Crawfordsville High School and retired from RR Donnelleys after 42 yrs. He last worked as a Roll Hoist Driver. He was a member of the Donnelley Club and East Christian Church in Darlington.

He is survived by his wife: two sons; Randall (wife-Christine) Chapman,Darlington; Johnathon Chapman, Darlington: 2 daughters, Lisa (husband-Jeff) McIntyre, Darlington; Janelle Chapman, Darlington: one brother, Roger (wife-Deb) Chapman, Crawfordsville; 2 sisters, Rita Grimes, Lafayette, IN and Darlene (husband-Charlie) Gray, Saucier, MS. Also survived by six grandchildren.

He was preceeded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Herschell Grimes

Visitation to be held at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home , on Thursday , from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM.

Service to be held at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, on Friday at 10:00 AM with burial at the Greenlawn Cemetery, Darlington, Indiana .
