Richard Arnold Steward

Mr. Richard Arnold Steward, 74, Crawfordsville, passed away Sunday, July 23rd, 2017, at 4:50 PM in the Ben Hur Health and Rehabilitation Center.He was born March 3rd, 1943, in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, to Denver Colorado and Clara Seward.He married Theresa Taylor on March 19th, 1962.She preceded him in death on January 22nd, 2014.

Richard was a Retired Welder and Machinist, having worked in Indiana,Arkansas, Texas, and California.

He is survived by his daughters: Sarah Beth Steward, Indianapolis; Cara Sue (Steve) Wildermuth, Avon; and Laura Steward, Rosenberg, Texas.Also surviving are his sisters: Mildred Jackson; Betty Hamilton; Lola Jane "Janie" Price; his brother: Jack Steward, all living in Arkansas; 9 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his son: Danny Ray Steward in 1989; his brother; Bruce; his sisters: Lavona Davis; Doris Jean Martinez; and Laura C. Taylor.

Cremation was chosen with a Celebration of Life Memorial Service being held at a later date at the Ben Hur Health and Rehabilitation Center, 1375 S. Grant Ave., Crawfordsville. (Contact Ben Hur @ 765-362-0905 for more information).
