Rita Ann (Fertaly) Bois

Rita Ann (Fertaly) Bois, age 69 of Kingman, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023 at St Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Danville, Illinois on May 27, 1954 to John Edmund & Lois Cecelia (Sneyd) Fertaly.

Rita graduated from Westville High School in 1972. Throughout the years she worked in the medical field as an X-ray tech at St Elizabeth hospital in Danville, worked as a certified medical assistant at Ben Hur Nursing Home in Crawfordsville and The Waters of Covington, and retired after over 20 years as head of security at Flex-in-Gate. She enjoyed bowling, dreaming of traveling a lot, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Richard Bois of Kingman; her mother, Lois Fertaly of Westville, Illinois, a son, Josh (Kellie) Bois of Texas; a daughter, Sarah (Kyle) Ehrich of Dana; three grandsons, Mack, Declan, and Weston; one sister, Elaine Shaw of Westville; a brother-in-law, Ronnie Bois of Tennessee; and numerous aunts, nieces, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Edmund Fertaly; a brother, John Michael Fertaly; a sister, Mary Fertaly, and a sister-in-law, Kathy Cranford.
