Rita Kaye Nipper

Rita Nipper, 75, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2024 at The Waters of Lebanon. She was born in Crawfordsville on March 1, 1948 to Derrill and Edith (Peters) Nipper.

Rita was a graduate of Russellville High School. After graduating, she moved to Orlando, FL with her family for over 30 years. She loved going to SeaWorld and was gifted a lifetime membership by SeaWorld. Rita enjoyed crossword puzzles and crafts, especially crochet and plastic canvas. She adored watching John Wayne movies. In her later years, Rita was constantly writing to keep her mind sharp. She helped raise her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and cared for her family more than anything else.

Rita is survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family. She was predeceased by her parents and siblings, Derrill Nipper, Jr., John F. Nipper, Kathryn Henry and Marguerite Durbin.
