Robert Carrell

Mr. Robert Carrell, age 74, passed away on September 2, 2011 at his home in Peabody, Kansas.  Born on August 26, 1937 in Montgomery County, In. he was the son of Leslie and Ida (Tate) Carrell and was a graduate of Alamo High School. He served in the US Navy from 1955 to 1959.

He married Marjorie Platt on May 26, 1958 and she preceded him in death on July 25, 2006.
Survivors include Son: Thomas and Jane Carrell of Newton, KS.
Daughters: Cheryl and Tomas Potts of Wichita, KS; Joni Leis of Wichita, KS.; Katy and Lorenzo Phelps of MN. and Tina & Greg Hardin of Topeka, KS.
Brother: Donald and Beverly Carrell of Wingate, In.
Sister: Maxine Davis of Crawfordsville, In.
7 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Richard and Warren Carrell.

A celebration of his life will be held at 10:30 am Monday September 12, 2011 at Shoemkaer Funeral Home, 202 Bratton Rd. Waynetown with Pastor Darrell Gilbert officiating. A commital service of the Urn will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery North, Crawfordsville, In. with Millitary Honors.
