Robert "Doug" Edwards

Robert “Doug” Douglas Edwards, age 57 of Crawfordsville passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Franciscan Health Crawfordsville after a battle with lung cancer. He was born in Crawfordsville on February 22, 1961 to the late Carl Robert Edwards & Carol Lois (Linton) Herron.

Throughout the years Doug worked as a painter, carpet installer for Zahn’s, and a meat cutter at Crawfords. He was an animal lover and enjoyed fishing, cooking, and gardening.

He is survived by his step father, Jack Herron; step mother, Barbara Edwards; four sisters, Judy (Rodney) Jenkins, Amy Edwards-Polly, Cindy Edwards, and Jill (Clay) Adams; four brothers, Ralph (Cheryl) Edwards, Garry Crispin, Kurt Herron, and Kevin (Cathy) Herron; lots of nieces and nephews; and his nephews beloved dog, Zoey.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Laurie Crispin-Turpin, Elizabeth Edwards-Vannice, and Patty Edwards-Wray.
