Robert Kincaid

Mr. Robert Owen Kincaid, 80, Crawfordsville, passed away Tuesday, April 23, at 11:03 AM, in Hickory Creek of Crawfordsville. He was born July 14, 1932, in Putnam County to Owen and Minnie (Sering) Kincaid. He married Patricia Ann Peacock on February 10, 1951, in Crawfordsville. She survives.

Mr. Kincaid had been employed at Haywood Publishing in Lafayette as an Apprentice Printing. He later went to work for the Indianapolis Star, also as a printer, where he retired after more than 35 years.

He was a 1950 graduate of Crawfordsville High School; member of the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ of Crawfordsville; member of the Montgomery #50 Masonic Lodge and the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son: Jeffrey (Kim) Kincaid, Lake Station, Indiana; his daughter: Laura (Tom) Zachrich, Angola, Indiana; sister: Betty (Harold) Barclay, Crawfordsville; brother: David (Dottie) Kincaid, Crawfordsville; granddaughters: Lindsay (Nick) Perez, Racine, Wisconsin, and Erica Zachrich, Angola; great grandchildren: Lucy and Ben Perez, Racine. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services are scheduled at 2:30 PM Friday, April 26, at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, Crawfordsville, with Rev. Keith Strain officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill North Cemetery, Crawfordsville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from Noon until service time. Memorials may be made to: First Christian Church, 211 S.
