Robert Morgan

Mr. Robert Earl Morgan, 74, Crawfordsville, passed away on Saturday at 10:10 PM at the Williamsburg Healtcare, Crawfordsville. He was born November 26, 1936 in Tennessee to George and Katie (Eves) Morgan. He married Lillie May Hendon on May 14, 1956 in Dover, Tennessee. She preceded him in death.

Mr. Morgan retired from the Veedersburg Street Department. He was a member of the First Church of God, Crawfordsville; was on the Veedersburg Volunteer Fire Department; loved to fish and do all kinds of electrical work.

He is survived by his daughters: Katie Wray, Crawfordsville, and Kathy (Terry) Martin, Covington: and son; Dorian Lynn, Kingman. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary Bell Cain.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 18, at 11:30 AM at the Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, 315 S. Washington St., Crawfordsville, with Rev. Chuck Callahan officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 17, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Burial will be at the Cold Springs Cemetery, Veedersburg.
