Roberta Janet Allee

Roberta Janet (Martin) Allee, age 94 of Olney, IL and formerly of New Market passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Helia Healthcare of Olney. She was born in New Market on August 31, 1923 to the late Fredrick Harrison & Mayme (Kennedy) Martin. On January 3, 1947, she married Bert B. Allee, who preceded her in death on April 6, 1982.

Roberta graduated from New Market High School in 1941 and was a member of the New Market Methodist Church, Chi Omega Sorority, and the local euchre club. She was a cook at Southmont Jr/Sr High School for many years until her retirement.

She is survived by her son, Michael Allee (Lonnie Perryman) of Olney, IL; a grandchild, David Allee of Colorado; and two great grandchildren, both of Colorado. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert and her son, Martin Gilbert Allee.

There was a private graveside service at Oak Hill Grant Ave Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to the New Market Methodist Church, PO Box 326, New Market, IN 47965 in her memory.
