Roger Dean Oilar II, age 39 of Kingman, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at home while surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Danville, IL on February 18, 1981 to Roger Dean Oilar Sr. and Bonnie Diane (Purple) Oilar.
Roger attended Fountain Central High School and played football and went to state in wrestling. Throughout the years he worked for Danny Murphy Construction in Crawfordsville and Random House. He enjoyed fishing, mushrooming, shotting pool, horseshoes, and loved his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Oilar of Kingman; three brothers, Keri Oilar, Randy (Vanessa) Purple, and Jeremy Oilar; a sister, Crystal (Chad) Hesh; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death in by his father, Roger Dean Oilar Sr; paternal grandparents, Ike & Marie Oilar; and maternal grandparents, William & Ruth Purple.
Visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st Street in Kingman on Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 12:00pm till the time of the service at 1:00pm with Pastor Bob Cruea officiating. Cremation will follow the service. The service will be live-streamed and recorded which can be viewed on his obituary page at www.sandersfuneralcare.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
