Ronald Lee Sizer

Ronald Lee Sizer, age 70 of Crawfordsville passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at home while surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in New Castle, Pennsylvania on April 4, 1949 to the late Charles & Betty (Boalich) Sizer.

Ron graduated from New Castle High School in Pennsylvania and he received his bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University in 1976.  On August 8, 1969 he married the love of his life, Rhonda Lynn Ward, who preceded him in death on May 17, 2005.

Ron was a human resource manager and loved baseball, his favorite teams being the Pittsburg Pirates and Chicago Cubs, and he umpired little league baseball for many years.  He loved listening to classical and big band music and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by a daughter, Cheri (Joe) Northcutt of Crawfordsville; a son, Thomas (Laura) Sizer of Louisville, Kentucky; a brother, Chuck (Patty) Sizer, a sister Barb (Jim) Donston, his mother-in-law, Vivian Ward, and sister-in-law, Paula (Larry) O’Kresik, all of New Castle, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, William, Hayden, and Page Sizer, and Lea (fiancé – Sam Regan) Northcutt and Collin (Allie Kirkman) Northcutt; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Rhonda; and two sisters, Darlene and Debbie Sizer.
