Rosalee Gould

Mrs. Rosalee Gould, age 88, of Crawfordsville, IN passed away on Saturday January 5, 2019 at Williamsburg Nursing Home, Crawfordsville, IN.

Rosalee was born on April 17, 1930 at Rainsville, IN. the daughter of Rupert and Stella Hill. She graduated from Otterbein High School where she met the love of her life, Donald Gene Gould. Don and Rosalee married on February 28, 1947 and he preceded her in death on March 21, 2015.

During her working years Rosalee had been a school bus driver for Coal Creek Central School at New Richmond, IN., she formerly owned the New Richmond Grocery Store and then worked for the Alexander Furniture Store, also in New Richmond. And before her retirement she was the manager of the "Things Remembered" store at the Tippecanoe Mall, Lafayette, IN.

Rosalee is survived by her three children and their spouses: Kathy & John Knodle of Wichita, KS., Donald W. & Diana Gould of Crawfordsville, IN> and Jeff & Cathi Gould of Thorntown, IN. and her sister Bethel Utter of Fowler, IN. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and 1 grandson.

The family has chosen a simple cremation with no services at this time. A private scattering of her ashes will take place later in the year. Shoemaker Funeral Home, is honored to assist the family with these arrangements.
