Roselyn Ann (Ferrand) Anderson

Roselyn Ann (Ferrand) Anderson, age 89 of Crawfordsville passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Parkwood Healthcare in Lebanon.  She was born in Williamsport, Indiana on April 23, 1929 to the late William Leslie & Naomi Ellen (Butcher) Ferrand.

Roselyn graduated from Greencastle High School in 1948 and on September 9, 1948 she married the love of her life, Harold L. Anderson, who preceded her in death on November 30, 2012.  Throughout the years she worked at General Telephone, Indiana Bell Telephone, was a sales clerk at JC Penney’s in Crawfordsville, and was a devout Christian, loving mother and homemaker.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Crawfordsville.

She is survived by four sons, Gary (Kathy Swinford) Anderson of Lebanon, Lloyd Douglas (Susan) Anderson of Leander, TX, Steven (Debbie) Anderson of Crawfordsville and Gordon (Ann Marie Norman) Anderson of Brownsburg; 6 grandchildren, Michelle, Stacy, Shannon, Nicolle, Whitney, Amanda and Hannah, and 5 great grandchildren, Ryann, Luke, Izabella, Alaina, and Lucinda.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold; a sister, Martha Jones; and a grandson, Jason Anderson – a Marine Corps Veteran.

Visitation will be at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S Washington St in Crawfordsville on Friday, March 1, 2019 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm.  The funeral service will be Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 2:00pm at the funeral home with Pastor Isaac Zull officiating.
